Ingredients for Tricolour kichadi (Kerala's popular side dish) Recipe
1 Pieces Salad cucumber
1 Pieces Carrot
30 g Pomegranate seeds
1 Cups thick curd
1 Cups Coconut grated
1/4 tsp Mustard
4 Pieces Green chilly
1/2 tsp Raw rice
as required water
to taste Salt
1 tsp Coconut oil
1/2 tsp Mustard
1/4 g Fenugreek powder
1 Pieces Red chilly
sprig Curry leaf - one
Directions: Tricolour Kichadi (kerala's Popular Side Dish) Recipe
STEP 1.Method
STEP 2.Combine grated coconut,mustard,raw rice ,green chilly add little water and blend till soft and mashy.
STEP 3.Add coconut paste to a Kadhai add some water, salt,turmeric bring to boil till mixture getting thick. Then add curd and mix well. Before getting boil add chopped veggies and fruit. Add curry leaf, Remove from and cover it with a lid.
STEP 4.Heat coconut oil splutter mustard, add curry leaf and red chilly finally add pinch of fenugreek powder and add to the curry. Tasty kichadi is ready to serve.
