Ingredients for Traditional Covonut rice 🥥🥥 Recipe

  • 1/2 Cups Rice
  • 1/2 g Grinded coconut
  • A Pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 Pieces Chilly
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Methi seeds
  • A Handful Curry leaves
  • 1/2 Tbsp Urad Dal
  • To Taste Salt

Directions: Traditional Covonut Rice 🥥🥥 Recipe

  • STEP 1.Grind coconut chunks and cumin seeds together.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a cooker . Add mustard seeds, methi seeds, green chillies, urad dal, asafoetida and curry leaves. Saute for a min until it starts spluttering and aromatic.
  • STEP 3.Add the grinded coconut to the pan and saute for a minute. Now add rice and salt. Mix everything well and cook covered for 2 more minutes. Now add water and cover the lid let 2 whistle come and coconut rice is ready.
  • STEP 4.Serve hot with sambhar or any curry.
