  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the toor dal for 30 minutes.

  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat ghee or oil and add cumin seeds, garlic, and green chilies.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 6.Add chopped spinach and cook until it wilts.
  • STEP 7.Add the cooked dal to the pan and mix well.
