  • 1/2 Large Potatoes, Boiled And Mashed
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil and mash the potatoes. Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, ginger, and spices to the mashed potatoes.
  • STEP 2.Mix well and shape the mixture into small patties. Coat the patties with breadcrumbs.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
  • STEP 4.Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

Cooking Tips

  • You can add finely chopped onions and coriander leaves to the potato mixture for extra flavor.
  • Make sure to squeeze out any excess moisture from the tomatoes before adding them to the potato mixture.
  • If the tikkis are breaking while frying, you can add a little cornflour to the mixture to bind it together.
