Ingredients for Tomato Soup Recipe

  • 1 nos Onion
  • As required Thinly sliced
  • 2 nos large garlic cloves
  • As required peeled and crushed
  • 2 nos whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • As required ¼ teaspoon celery seed
  • As required ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 nos pinch red pepper flakes
  • As required Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions: Tomato Soup Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pressure cooker add tomatoes, carrot, garlic and 1 liter water.
  • STEP 2.Boil for 1 whistle and cook on summer for 10 mins. Switch off the gas and leave it for 15 mins.
  • STEP 3.Now open the lid of pressure cooker and let the steam release.
  • STEP 4.Use a hand blender and blend the chunks in soup.
  • STEP 5.Drain the soup.
  • STEP 6.Now put the drained soup back on gas. Let it come to boil.
  • STEP 7.Meanwhile add 2 tbsp cornflour in 1 cup water. Mix.
  • STEP 8.Add cornflour mix to the soup. Mix till soup thickens.
  • STEP 9.Add salt & pepper as per your taste.
  • STEP 10.Enjoy with garlic bread.
