  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and dried red chillies. Fry until the dal turns golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, and tamarind paste. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in the same pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and hing. Pour the blended chutney into the pan and cook for a few minutes.
