  • STEP 2.Once the seeds start to splutter, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.Add tamarind pulp, turmeric powder, rasam powder, salt, and water to the pan.
  • STEP 4.Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and remove from heat.
  • STEP 6.Serve the tomato rasam hot with rice or as a standalone soup.
