Ingredients for tomato macaroni pasta Recipe

  • 0.67 cup Macaroni
  • 0.33 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.67 cup Tomato chopped
  • 0.33 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp reen capsicum chopped
  • 1 tbsp Carrot chopped
  • 0.33 g reen chilli chopped
  • 0.33 tsp grated ginger
  • 0.33 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 0.67 tbsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.17 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 0.17 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.08 tsp garam masala

Directions: Tomato Macaroni Pasta Recipe

  • STEP 1.cooking macaroni pasta
  • STEP 2.Collect all the required ingredients.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat 3 cups of water and 1 tsp of salt. Bring it to a boil.
  • STEP 4.Add 2 heaped cup macaroni or elbow macaroni.
  • STEP 5.Stir with a fork.
  • STEP 6.Begin to cook macaroni on medium flame till they are al dente – meaning they should have a slight bite to them.
  • STEP 7.Drain all the water and keep cooked macaroni aside.
  • STEP 8.Making macroni pasta:
  • STEP 9.Heat a large kadai with oil.
  • STEP 10.Add onion and sauté on a low-medium flame stirring often till they become translucent or until they turn pink.
  • STEP 11.Then add ginger, green chilli and sauté till the ginger is light brown or till its raw aroma goes away.
  • STEP 12.Now add chopped veggies and fry them for few seconds until they get crunchy.
  • STEP 13.Next add in tomatoes and mix thoroughly.
  • STEP 14.After mixing, add spices like salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder.
  • STEP 15.Cook tomatoes until they soften, pulpy and blend with the veggies.The raw smell of tomatoes should disappear.
  • STEP 16.When the tomatoes and veggies blend well, then add 1 tbsp of water.
  • STEP 17.Keep stirring continuously on medium flame until the oil starts separating from masala.
  • STEP 18.Lower the flame and then add the cooked macroni.
  • STEP 19.Mix gently, coating the masala sauce well.
  • STEP 20.Lastly add tomato ketchup and garam masala.
  • STEP 21.Again toss well. Keep in mind mix very gently so that pasta does not break and get much mushy.
  • STEP 22.Sprinkle coriander leaves. Steaming hot veg macaroni is ready.
  • STEP 23.Serve hot this scrumptious macaroni and relish eating.
