Ingredients for TOMATO CHUTNEY Recipe

  • 125 g Red ripe tomatoes -
  • 1/4 tsp panch foron -
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder -
  • 1/4 nos Bay leaf -
  • As required salt to taste
  • 1/2 cups Sugar -
  • 1/4 tbsp mustard oil
  • As required cashew nuts to garnish ( optional)

Directions: Tomato Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan
  • STEP 2.Add 1tsp panch foron and the bay leaf
  • STEP 3.saute little
  • STEP 4.Now add the tomatoes, salt and turmeric powder
  • STEP 5.saute for 3 - 4 mins
  • STEP 6.close the lid till the top are soft
  • STEP 7.Stir it for few mins
  • STEP 8.Add 2 cups of sugar
  • STEP 9.Mix everything properly
  • STEP 10.This chutney does not require water
  • STEP 11.Next garnish with cashews
  • STEP 12.Enjoy the chutney
