  • 0.17 teaspoon Ginger, Grated
  • 0.33 cloves Cloves Garlic, Minced

  • 33.33 gram Tofu, Diced
  • 0.08 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large bowl, soak rice and lentils in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and blend the soaked rice and lentils with water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter onto the center.
  • STEP 4.Spread the batter in a circular motion to make a thin crepe.
  • STEP 5.Cook until the edges turn golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 6.In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 7.Add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 8.Add diced tofu, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  • STEP 10.Spread the tofu masala filling on one half of the dosa and fold it over.
  • STEP 11.Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.

  • Make sure the batter is smooth and of pouring consistency.
  • You can add chopped vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or peas to the tofu masala filling for added texture and flavor.
