Ingredients for Tofu Lettuce Wraps Recipe

  • 1/2 Nos tofu
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shallots
  • 1 Nos carrot
  • 2 Nos white mushroom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • As required Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Nos scallion

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.Crumble tofu into small chunks with a fork.
  • STEP 2.Add oil to a pan and heat it. Stir fry tofu chunks until golden brown.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Separately, in a pan, add oil and shallots and stir fry. Then add carrots, mushrooms and saute it until cooked.
  • STEP 2.Season with cumin powder, turmeric powder and sweet soy sauce.
  • STEP 3.Now add salt, sugar and black pepper.
  • STEP 4.If the dish is too dry then add 2 tbsp of water until gravy dried up.
  • STEP 5.Lastly, garnish with scallions and serve with fresh lettuce.
