Ingredients for Tlacoyos Recipe

  • 1.50 cup masa harina
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.25 cup Warm Water
  • 1 cup Refried Beans

Directions: Tlacoyos Recipe

  • STEP 1.In large bowl,combine the masa harina and the salt. Add warm water and mix the dry ingredients with the water until it forms large masa dough
  • STEP 2.Mix the dry ingredients with the water until it forms large masa dough
  • STEP 3.With wet hands make a ball of dough. Pat out the dough and make it like a thick tortilla
  • STEP 4.Add 1tbsp of refried beans to the center of the masa in your hand. Fold the ends and make it look like taco
  • STEP 5.Heat the skillet. Place the tlacoyos on the griddle or skillet cook for 5 minutes and add your favorite toppings.
