Ingredients for Tiropita Recipe

  • 1/2 pound phyllo Sheets
  • 1 cup crumbled Feta Cheese
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter

Directions: Tiropita Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix in a bowl of feta and cottage cheese with 3 eggs.
  • STEP 2.Cut the phyllo sheets into 3 strips.
  • STEP 3.Place 2 strips down and brush the top with butter.
  • STEP 4.Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on top of the end of the strip and fold it down into a triangle shape.
  • STEP 5.Place your tiropitas on a parchment lined baking sheet and brush the tops with butter.
  • STEP 6.Place them into a preheated oven at 375 degrees fahrenheit and bake for about 25- 20 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Remove them when they are nicely golden brown on top and serve.
