Tingmo is also called a ting momo as it is a variation of momos. These are made with yeast flour using a steamer but do not have any kind of illing.Tingmo or ting momo is one of those breads that is extremely satisfying to get right. The distinguishing feature of this steamed dumpling is its layered appearance. Once properly proofed and steamed, all the layers of the bun seem to open up like a flower.

How to Make Tingmo Recipe
step 1
STEP 01
add yeast in ½ cup of water and mix it well.

keep it aside for 10 minutes and after that

in a bowl flour and add some salt and yeast mix to it.

mix everything well and knead by gradually adding water to it.

grease a bowl with some oil and keep the dough in it to rest for 2 hours.

after 2 hours when the dough rises, sprinkle some flour on top of it and knead a little.

divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll them flat using a rolling pin.

apply a little bit of oil on top of the rolled dough and fold it into a rectangular shape.

9 cut this into smaller pieces with a knife and stack them on top of each other.

10 stretch, twist and join the ends of these rectangles to give them a proper shape.

11 keep them aside for 10 minutes.

boil some water in a steamer and cook the tigmos in it for 10-12 minutes. turn off the heat and your tigmos are ready to be served.
