Thukpa popular in various parts of Nepal,Bhutan and States of Sikkim,Assam,Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh in North east India. It is a Tibetan noodle soup, which originated in the eastern part of Tibet. Amdo thukpa (especially thenthuk) is a famous variant amongst the Tibetans and the people of Nepal. One of the most popular varieties is called Putang Thukpa, meaning noodles made of buckwheat which is made into a curry and flavoured with yak meat or dry fish.

Ingredients for Thick Egg Thukpa Recipe

  • 3 No.s Eggs, boiled
  • 300 gram Noodles
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 40 gram carrots, diced small
  • 40 gram green beans, cut small
  • 40 gram Cabbage, chopped small
  • 200 milliliter Water
  • 10 gram pepper powder
  • 15 gram Salt
  • 1 pinch Msg
  • As required Ingredients for Thukpa sauce
  • 30 gram spring onions
  • 4 No.s green chillies, chopped
  • 20 gram garlic,thinly sliced
  • 20 gram ginger, thinly sliced
  • 20 milliliter Soy Sauce
  • 15 milliliter Vinegar

Directions: Thick Egg Thukpa Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a pan add water then water boil add salt and oil then add egg noodles boil and water drain.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Take a pan add oil garlic saute then add ginger and onion,green chilli and salt add then add veggies saute add vegetable stock and cook.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Take a serving bowl put boiled noodles then put soup and cut eggs in four pcs then egg garnish sprinkle black pepper.

  • STEP 4.Then hot egg thukpa enjoy.
