Ingredients for Thattukada Mutta & Chammanthi Recipe

  • 1 No.s Eggs
  • 0.17 cup Mint leaves
  • 0.33 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1.67 No.s Green chilli
  • 1.33 tablespoon Grated Coconut
  • 1/2 tablespoon Vinegar
  • As required Salt

Directions: Thattukada Mutta & Chammanthi Recipe

Preparation Directions

  • STEP 1.Take a pan and add water, salt to taste . Boil 3eggs in it for 10mins.
  • STEP 2.Remove the egg shells.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take a jar and ½ cup pudina/mint leaves, 1 cup coriander leaves, 1 small piece chopped ginger and 5 chopped green chillies. Add 2 tbsp water and grind it. Add 4tbsp grated coconut, 1-1½ tbsp vinegar, salt to taste. Pulse it to coarse mixture.
  • STEP 2.Take the eggs and split it into 2 halves using a knife. Sprinkle some salt and then place the prepared mixture (chammanthi) on each piece of egg. Sprinkle chilli powder on top.
  • STEP 3.Thattukada Special Mutta & Chammanthi is ready to be served.
