Making your own homemade thai curry is surprisingly simple and extremely satisfying. Traditionally thai curry is sweeter and thicker than other types of curry and is served with steamed jasmine rice. With it's rich spices, chunky vegetables and creamy coconut milk this is a delicious comfort food.

  • 0.33 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.67 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 0.33 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 0.33 Lemon juice
  • 0.33 tablespoon chopped basil leaves
  • 0.67 tablespoon coconut oil
  • As required Salt
  • As required For the yellow curry paste
  • 1 small onions
  • 1.33 garlic cloves
  • 0.33 teaspoon Roasted cumin Powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 0.08 teaspoon cardamom Powder
  • 2 pepper corns
  • 0.67 teaspoon lemon grass powder or 1 stalk of fresh lemon grass
  • 0.33 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 0.33 teaspoon Grated ginger
  • 0.33 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 0.67 fresh red chillies or 1 bird eyes chilly
  • As required Add all the ingredients in a small chutney jar and make a smooth paste
