Ingredients for Thai Style Crispy Lime Salmon Recipe

  • 300 gram Salmon Fillet
  • 1 stalk Lemongrass
  • 3 Kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 No.s Spring onions
  • 5 gram Ginger
  • 3 No.s Garlic
  • 2 No.s Red fresh chili
  • 20 gram Coriander
  • 10 milliliter Lime juice
  • 5 gram Shrimp paste
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut oil
  • 10 gram Grated palm sugar
  • 70 gram Bread crumbs
  • 1 No.s Egg
  • As required Salt

Directions: Thai Style Crispy Lime Salmon Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a food processor palace 1 finely chopped lemongrass, 3 finely chopped kaffir limes, 5gm ginfely chopped ginger, 3 finely chopped cloves garlic, 1 to 2 finely chopped red chillies, 20 gm finely chopped coriander.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 to this add 5 gm shrimp paste, 10 ml lime juice, 51 tbsp peanut oil and blend to a smooth paste.

  • STEP 3.3 in a mixing bowl place 300 gm salmon fillet cut into 2 cm chunks, add the blended paste from the food processor, 10 gm grated palm sugar, salt to taste and gently mix all the ingredients together to coat the pieces of fish.

  • STEP 4.4 leave to marinate for 1 hour.

  • STEP 5.5 place 70 gm bread crumbs in a plate and place the bowl of whisked egg next to it.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 dip each piece of marinated fish in the egg and then roll to coat with bread crumbs and keep aside.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 in awok heat oil for deep frying. When hot, slide coated fish one piece at a time.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 deep fry the salmon on medium heat. Do not crowd the wok.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 fry for 2 to 3 minutes till golden and cooked through. Then remove and drain.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 serve hot with sweet chili sauce.
