Ingredients for Tender Coconut Pudding Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Tender coconut pulp
  • 0.13 cup Tender coconut water
  • 2.50 gram China grass
  • 0.38 cup Milk
  • 50 milliliter Condensed milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon Poppy seeds

Preparation Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak 10gms china grass in ½ cup water for 15 minutes.

Cooking Directions for China Grass

  • STEP 1.In a pan, transfer the china grass-water mix.
  • STEP 2.Heat on a medium-low flame till the china grass is fully dissolved.

Cooking Directions for pudding

  • STEP 1.In a mixer grinder add 1 cup of tender coconut pulp and ½ cup of tender coconut water. Blend well.
  • STEP 2.Set a saucepan on the stove. Pour in 1 ½ cup of milk and 200ml condensed milk. Continue stirring.
  • STEP 3.Pour in the melted china grass to the mix and continue stirring.
  • STEP 4.After 10 minutes of continuous stirring turn off the flame and add blended coconut pulp and coconut water.
  • STEP 5.Transfer into a bowl. Let it cool at room temperature for half an hour.
  • STEP 6.Refrigerate for 8 hours and serve chilled.

Special Comments

  • STEP 1.10gms of gelatin powder can be used as an alternative for china grass.
