Get all the ingredients for your cake batter ready.
Keep your baking utensils and tools handy.
Cooking Directions
Take 2 eggs in a bowl, beat it with a fork. Gradually add 10tsp powdered sugar and mix well. Add ¼ cup melted butter. Mix well.
Add 2 tsp essence(pineapple or vanilla) and some food colour (optional). Mix well.
Take a bowl and place a sieve on it. Add 1cup maida, 1tsp baking powder, 1/2tsp baking soda, a pinch of salt and sieve it. Add the prepared mix of egg into it. Mix well in one direction (clockwise or anticlockwise). Add 2tbsp milk and mix well.
Take a cake mould and put baking paper then pour the cake batter. Spread it evenly.
Preheat the oven in 160degrees for 10 mins. Bake the cake in 160 degrees for 40-45 min.
Let it cool down. Cut the cake into desired sizes and shapes. Tea cake is ready to be served.
Storage And Serving Method
For serving, cut the cake into slices and serve warm along with a cup of tea.
For storage, you can store them in glass jar in the fridge.
