Ingredients for Tawa karela (diet karela with 1 tsp oil) Recipe

  • 0-35.71 gms Karela
  • 0-0.14 tsp Sarso ka tel
  • As required Salt-as per taste
  • 0-0.07 nos Haldi powder ts
  • 0-1/25 nos Red chilli powder ts
  • 0-0.07 nos Achari masala powder ts
  • 0-0.14 nos Onion big

Directions: Tawa Karela (diet Karela With 1 Tsp Oil) Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut karela in thin slices.
  • STEP 2.Now sprinkle salt and keep it for 2 hrs .so that karela will leave all the bitter water.
  • STEP 3.Now take tawa and add 1 tsp oil
  • STEP 4.Now add onions and saute it.
  • STEP 5.Now add karela after squeezing out all the water.
  • STEP 6.Now saute it a bit and add salt,haldi,mirchi and masala.
  • STEP 7.Now cover it with lid till karela is soft.Let it cook in its own steam.
  • STEP 8.After 15 min it will be mostly ready.
  • STEP 9.Now just saute it till its shiny and all the water is dried out.
