How to Make Taro Sago Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

Cut the taro into pieces one inch thick, and steam for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool after steaming, then cut into cubes.

STEP 02

Press one hundred grams of taro into a coarse paste, so that the sago has a taro flavor.

STEP 03

Slowly put the sago into 800 ml of boiling water, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes on medium-low heat until the sago becomes transparent.

STEP 04

Remove the hot water, pass it through a cold river, and soak in cold water for ten minutes to make the sago smoke tough. Pour coconut milk and water into a pot, add sugar and salt, and boil coconut milk.

step 5

STEP 01

Then add taro puree, add a little coconut milk to the sago, and put it in the pot. Add taro cubes and bring to a boil. You'll get a fragrant smell and it's done.
