- 3 g red tomatoes big size
- 1 tsp Tamarind
- 2 tsp Jaggery
- 1/2 tsp Ginger chilli paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Rasam powder
- 1/4 tsp tsp hin
- 1/2 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp Ghee
- as required Few curry leaves
- as required Some chopped coriander
- As Required As per taste Salt
- as required water required

In a pan add water to boil. Roughly chopped tomatoes, add in boiling water along with tamarind. Boil till soft..
When cools completely, grind in a mixer in a smooth paste. Strain it.
Take a pan, add ghee, hing, jeera, ginger chilli paste, curry leaves, saute it.
Add tomato paste along with water as required for rasam constituency.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, rasam powder and jaggery..
Boil for 5 minutes.. Ready to serve hot tangy tomato rasam.. Garnish with chopped coriander..
