Ingredients for Tandoori Momos Recipe

  • 0.38 Cups refined flour
  • 0.13 Cups Cabbage ( Chopped)
  • 0.13 Cups Onions
  • 0.13 Cups Carrots
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 0.13 Cups Water (as per need)
  • 1/4 Cups Capsicum (chopped)
  • 0.13 Cups Paneer (grated)
  • 0.06 Tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tsp amchur powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp green chillies
  • 1/4 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 Tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1/2 Tbsp Spring onion (greens)
  • 1/2 Cups Oil for frying
  • 1/4 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 1/4 Tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 Tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 Tsp kasoori methi
  • 0.13 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.13 Cups Hung curd
  • 1/4 Tbsp Roasted besan
  • 0.13 Tsp Black salt
  • 1/4 Pieces Charcoal
  • 1/4 Tbsp Ghee

Directions: Tandoori Momos Recipe

  • STEP 1.For Making Dough • In a mixing bowl add refined flour, salt to taste and water as required to knead a semi stiff dough. • Cover it with a damp cloth and rest it for 20-25 minutes. • Knead the dough properly and then divide into equal roundels. • In a muslin cloth add and mix the cabbage, onions, carrots and salt, squeeze to remove the excess moisture. • In a mixing bowl add the squeezed add veggies, paneer, salt according to taste, and spices, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, freshly chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and add spring onions. And the mixture is ready. • Flatten the dough balls and roll into a thin chapati. Cut into 3-inch circles using a cookie cutter or a lid. You can also roll the momo wrappers individually. • Place a spoonful of filling mixture in the centre.   • Shape the momos by pinching it from one side and continue in circular motion. • Deep fry the momos on medium flame until the outer layer is light brown.
  • STEP 2.For Marination • In a mixing bowl add all the ingredient and mix well, add half cooked or fried momos, mix with light hand and coat well with the marinade. • Place live charcoal and pour few drops of ghee. Cover and smoke the momos for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 3.For grilling • Skew the capsicum momos and onions in the skewers. • Heat oil in a pan and cook the momos on each side until golden brown. • You can also char grill on direct flame to get charred texture. • Serve hot with green chutney or any chutney of your preference.
