Tamarind juice is a divine drink to protect against summer heat. In the scorching heat of summer, when there is a good heat outside, drinking tamarind juice gives adequate protection to the body against the heat. In addition, our body gets relief from many ailments like yellow, indigestion, heat etc. This juice is very easy to make at home. Ingredients for Tamarind Jaggery sharbat (Aambalvanu Sharbat) Recipe

  • 6.25 gms Tamarind
  • 25 gms Jaggery
  • 0.13 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Stirring powder
  • to taste According to taste salt
  • As Required For Ganishing Mint leaves
  • As Required Ice cube

Directions: Tamarind Jaggery Sharbat (aambalvanu Sharbat) Recipe

  • STEP 1.01. The jaggery and tamarind are washed once with water and soaked for 5 to 6 hours.
  • STEP 2.02. Jaggery and Tamarind are to be crushed by hand and dissolved in water and strained through a sieve.
  • STEP 3.03. The two are to be strained and combined in a bowl.
  • STEP 4.04. Now add pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste and mix well.
  • STEP 5.05. Add 1 to 1.5 glasses of chilled water and put it in the freezer to cool.
  • STEP 6.06. This juice can be served with ice cubes and mint leaves.
