Ingredients for Tamale Recipe

  • 340 gram Boneless Chicken Breast
  • As required A few Corn Husks
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Corn Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 2 No.s Bay Leaves
  • 0.33 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • As required Red Chili Sauce

Directions: Tamale Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pan add chicken, garlic and bay leaf.

  • STEP 1.Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.

step 3

  • STEP 1. soak corn husk in hot water for 30 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1.heat some oil in a pan and add turmeric and shredded boiled chicken.

step 5

  • STEP 1. fry it for 3 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1. in a bowl add butter, salt, baking powder and mix well.

step 7

  • STEP 1. add corn flour and chicken broth to it.

step 8

  • STEP 1. mix well.

step 9

  • STEP 1.make a layer of prepared mixture on corn husk and top it with chili sauce and shredded chicken.

step 10

  • STEP 1. fold it and cook on a steamer for 2 hours.
