Ingredients for Tadka dal Recipe

  • 1/4 Cups Tuwar daal
  • 1/2 Pieces mall onion
  • 1.25 Pieces Small tomato
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds and cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoons Desi Ghee
  • 3/4 Pieces Dry Red Chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoons Oil
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala

Directions: Tadka Dal Recipe

  • STEP 1.First, wash toor dal. Put in a vessel add water, hing,, turmeric powder. Pressure cook it by giving 4 whistles.
  • STEP 2.Now chop tomato and onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves. Heat deep pan adds oil or butter to it. Once hot add mustard seeds, add onions saute, add ginger garlic paste. Now add tomato and green chilies saute till mushy.
  • STEP 3.Add curry leaves, turmeric powder red chilly powder.mix well, add cooked dal, gram Masada, salt. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Now in a tadka pan add ghee, once hot add chopped garlic, dry red chilly, red chilli powder,cumin seeds.
  • STEP 5.Pour this Tadka on cooked dal. Serve hot with steamed rice or tandoori roti. enjoy
