  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 4.50 Y Leaves
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger, Grated
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery Or Sugar

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped tomatoes, ginger, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.Add jaggery or sugar and cook for a few more minutes until the chutney thickens.
  • STEP 4.Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer to a sterilized jar and store in the refrigerator.
  • STEP 5.Serve the Sweet & Spicy Tomato Chutney with your favorite snacks or use it as a spread in sandwiches or wraps.
