Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a large pan, heat ghee and add cashews, raisins, and cardamom pods.
  • STEP 3.Add the soaked rice and sauté for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pot, heat coconut milk and jaggery until the jaggery melts.
  • STEP 5.Add the coconut milk mixture to the rice and cook until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with more nuts and serve hot or chilled.
