Ingredients for Sweet Potato Mix Veggies Subzi Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Sweet potato
  • 0.13 cup bottle gourd pieces (dudhi)
  • 0.13 cup Fresh green peas
  • 0.13 cup cup green capsicum
  • 1/2 tsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp mustard and cummin seeds
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 g pinch asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin and coriander seeds powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Jaggery
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • As Required Freshly chopped green coriander leaves

Directions: Sweet Potato Mix Veggies Subzi Recipe

  • STEP 1.In kadhai add heat oil, do tempering of mustard cumin seeds,add turmeric powder and asafoetida. Add capsicum pieces and green peas,mix and saute for 1 minute.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped bottle gourd pieces,mix and add salt to taste,add 1 glass of water,cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Now add cubed sweet potato pieces,mix and cook till all veggies are tender.
  • STEP 4.Add red chilli powder and dhaniya and jeera powder, jaggery, lemon juice,mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rotis.
