  • STEP 1.Soak rice and lentils separately in water overnight.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked rice and lentils into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Add jaggery or sugar to the batter and mix well.
  • STEP 4.Heat a griddle and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 5.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until crispy and golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
