#mom My mom is pro in making pickles, chutneys etc. She usually make them in big batches and always try to give them to the relatives I believe all moms are the same. When you are away from her you always miss those such things, this lemon chutney recipe is one of my moms secret recipe which I m sharing here.

Ingredients for Sweet and tangy Lemon chutney Recipe

  • 25 Grams lemon (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/10 Tbsps red chilli powder (can adjust acoording tk to your taste)
  • 1/10 Tbsps Garam Masala Powder: Homemade
  • 1/10 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/20 Tbsp black salt
  • 1/20 Tbsp black pepper powder
  • 1/5 Tsp carrom seed
  • 1/20 Tsp asofoetida
  • 1/20 Cup sugar
  • 1/20 Tbsp Salt...................... To taste

Directions: Sweet And Tangy Lemon Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut the lemons with rind into cubes and remove the seeds without wasting the juice.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the lemons cubes with little salt . Cool them
  • STEP 3.Grind the cooked lemon cubes, Grind into fine paste.
  • STEP 4.Heat a pan, add the ground paste, add red chilli powder , turmeric powder ,garam masala , black salt, pepper powder, carrom seed Mix well for a minute on medium flame.
  • STEP 5.Now add sugar and adjust salt. Mix and cook again on low flame.
  • STEP 6.Now add suagr, asafoetida, little water and cook on medium flame until it thickens to chutney consistency.
  • STEP 7.Whole lemon sweet and spicy chutney is ready and serve with your meal.
