  • 125 gram Yam, Peeled And Chopped
  • 0.13 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coriander Leaves, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste

Directions: Suran (yam) Ke Kebabs Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop the yam into small pieces. Boil the yam until tender.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and mash the boiled yam.
  • STEP 3.In a mixing bowl, add the mashed yam, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs until golden and crispy on both sides.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to boil the yam until it is completely tender to ensure easy mashing.
