  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 No.s Cloves
  • 2 stick Cinnamon small pieces
  • 1 No.s Cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon Grated ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tea
  • 1/4 piece Lemon

How to Make Sulaimani Chaya Recipe

Cooking Directions

STEP 01

Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan with 2 cloves, 4 small pieces of cinnamon stick, 1 tbsp grated ginger and 1 tbsp sugar.

STEP 02

Stir well till the sugar dissolves.

STEP 03

Boil the water for 2 minutes on a medium flame.

STEP 04

When the water comes to boil add 1 tbsp of tea powder and stir well.

STEP 05

Let the water boil for another 2 minutes until the colour changes to a red-brown shade.

STEP 06

Turn off the flame and squeeze out half lemon into the tea.

STEP 07

Cover the saucepan with a lid for a minute.

STEP 08

Let the extracts styles and heighten the flavour of the tea.

STEP 09

Filter the tea into a serving cup.
