Ingredients for Suji upma Recipe

  • 0.40 cups Suji
  • 1 cups Water
  • 0.40 tablespoon Peanuts
  • 1/5 spoon chenna daal
  • 1/10 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/10 tsp mustard seeds
  • As required To taste salt
  • 0.40 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.80 nos green chilli chpped
  • 1/5 nos Onion Chopped
  • 0.15 nos Curry leaves

Directions: Suji Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Put a pan on the stove, once the pan heats add oil, once the oil heats put mustard and cumin seeds, once the seeds splutters add chana Dal and then peanuts
  • STEP 2.Once the chana Dal and peanuts roasted add onion, green chilli, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Once the onion becomes little brown add water, close it with a lid, keep in high flame, once the water starts bubbling keep the stove in low flame, add 2 cups suji rava slowly, while adding suji rava we need to mix it with a spoon and close it with a lid
  • STEP 4.After few minutes open the lid and check whether it is cooked or not. Once it is cooked take it into a bowl and serve hot with chutney/sauce and curry
