  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • as required A Few Strands Of Saffron

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat ghee in a pan and add semolina. Roast the semolina until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
  • STEP 2.In a separate saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the boiling water to the roasted semolina slowly, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 3.Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the mixture. Cook until the halwa thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 4.Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
