Ingredients for Suji halwa Recipe

  • 0.67 cups suji
  • 0.33 cup Ghee
  • 1.33 cups Sugar
  • 0.33 inch Pinch cardamom powder
  • as required Saffron
  • 0.08 cup Mixed dry fruits
  • 2.67 cup water

Directions: Suji Halwa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Add ghee to kadai and add suji. Saute till we get the sweet smell. Transfer to a plate.
  • STEP 2.Add water in Kadai. Add saffron strands, and sugar and bring to boil. Once the water boils add suji to it and mix well.
  • STEP 3.Add ghee to a small pan and roast cashews and raisins. Once golden add in Kadai and mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add cardamom powder and mix. Serve hot.
