Ingredients for Suji halwa Recipe

  • 1/4 cups rava
  • 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Milk
  • 2.50 A Stem Strands saffron
  • 0.19 cups pure ghee
  • 2.50 Pieces Pistachio
  • 2.50 Pieces Cashew nuts
  • 0.13 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2.50 Pieces Almonds
  • 3/4 cups water

Directions

How to Make Suji Halwa Recipe

  • Heat ghee in a wok. Saute almonds for 1 minute in ghee. Now add cashew nuts and pistachio and saute for 1 more minutes. Add raisins and saute for 30 seconds. Remove all in a plate.
  • Soak saffron strands in lukewarm milk and keep aside.
  • Now add semolina in remaining ghee and roast on low flame till golden or till roasted semolina flavours starts coming.
  • Now add half of sugar and water and keep on stirring till the mixture becomes thick.
