Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Mix together semolina, gram flour, yogurt, and water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger-green chili paste, salt, turmeric powder, and lemon juice to the batter.
  • STEP 3.Grease a steamer plate and pour the batter into it.
  • STEP 4.Steam the dhokla for about 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • STEP 5.Cut the dhokla into pieces and garnish with fresh coriander leaves and grated coconut.
  • STEP 6.Serve with green chutney.
