  • 1/5 tablespoon Fennel Seeds
  • 1/10 tablespoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/20 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • 1/20 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.03 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • pinch A Pinch Of Asafoetida

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the green chillies. Slit them lengthwise, removing the seeds if desired.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix together spices like fennel seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Stuff the spice mixture into the chillies and press them tightly.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 5.Add the stuffed chillies to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Transfer the pickle to a sterilized jar and let it cool completely before sealing.
  • STEP 7.Store the pickle in a cool and dry place for at least a week before consuming.
  • STEP 8.Serve the stuffed chilli pickle as a condiment with rice, roti, or any Indian meal.
