Ingredients for Stuffed Appe Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Semolina
  • 0.13 cup Curd
  • 0.13 cup water
  • As Required salt as per taste
  • 1/2 Pieces Boiled Potatoes
  • 1/4 Tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 g reen Chilli
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.06 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.06 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Packet Maggi magic masala
  • 0.13 tsp Eno fruit salt
  • 0.06 tsp Mango powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds

Directions: Stuffed Appe Recipe

  • STEP 1.👉Mix semolina, curd, water, and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk the mixture for 5 minutes and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.👉Mash 2 Boiled potatoes. Add ginger, green chili, and coriander leaves. Add all dry masale and mix well. Make small balls of this stuffing.
  • STEP 3.👉Now add eno powder in semolina mixture and mix. Adjust the consistency of the mixture by adding water if required. I have added 2 tbsp more to adjust the consistency.
  • STEP 4.👉Brash appe pan with oil. Add cumin seeds in each appe. Pour a spoon full of mixture in each appe.
  • STEP 5.👉Place each ball of stuffing over it. Then pour semolina mixture on it. Apply cooking oil on it. Place the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 6.👉Flip the side. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Check if needed cook for another minute.
  • STEP 7.👉Serve hot with Tomato ketchup and green chutney.
