Ingredients for Stuff potato petis Recipe

  • 1/2 cup ¼ cup
  • 1/4 cup ¼ cup
  • 1/4 cup ¼ cup
  • 1/4 tbsp White sesame
  • 1/4 tsp Saunf powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Powder sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp Chopped cashew nuts
  • 1/4 tbsp Raisins

Directions: Stuff Potato Petis Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take 2 medium-sized potatoes and grate them with a grater.
  • STEP 2.For stuffing, in a mixing bowl add mashed potatoes, coarsely ground unsalted peanuts, grated fresh coconut, sesame seeds, fennel seeds, ginger-green chili paste, powder sugar, lemon juice, salt, garam masala, pomegranate seeds, cashew nuts, raisins and chopped coriander leaves.
  • STEP 3.Mix well. Then lightly grease hands and make small-sized round balls. Keep it aside.
  • STEP 4.Now in a mixing bowl, add boiled mashed potatoes, cornflour, salt, oil, and prepare the dough-like mixture.
  • STEP 5.Take a ball from prepared outer layer mixture and using greased hands lightly flatten it like a puri shape.
  • STEP 6.Place small size stuffing ball in middle and lifting from the edges close the pettis. Give it a ball shape.
  • STEP 7.Prepare all pettis in the same way.
  • STEP 8.In a plate take 2 tbsp cornflour and roll all the pettis one by one coating it well.
  • STEP 9.Now heat oil on medium flame and fry 4-5 pettis at a time.
  • STEP 10.Once they are slightly cooked then turn it over and cook till golden brown.
  • STEP 11.Take it all fried pattis on paper napkin and serve hot with green chuteny
