Perfect fruity salsa for summer. Strawberries are widely grown hybrid species of genus Fragaria. These juicy, bright red fruit, firstly cultivated in Brittany, France. Strawberries are widely consumed for it's juicy texture, bright red colour, aroma and sweetness. It is consumed either fresh or in form.of juice, shake, jam, desserts etc. In 2019 , production of strawberries was 9 million tons globally. Like other berries , Strawberries are rich in vitamins, minerals, fibers and antioxidants. Still the presence of pesticides in them can affects health so choosing organic variety and cleaning properly is must. Strawberry Salsa is delicious and healthy party appetizer which goes good with any chips of your choice or even you can add cottage cheese or feta and consumed as a salad too. Info source: Internet

Ingredients for Strawberry Salsa Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Finely chopped strawberry
  • 1/2 Pieces finely chopped onion
  • 1 g finely chopped green chillies
  • 0.13 cup Finely chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt

Directions: Strawberry Salsa Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix well. Mash it lightly.
  • STEP 2.2. Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes.
  • STEP 3.3. Serve chilled Strawberry salsa with your choice of chips or toast.
  • STEP 4.Note:
  • STEP 5.1. You can use honey or maple.syrup instead of sugar.
