Ingredients for Strawberry cupcake Recipe

  • As required For the Cupcakes:
  • 1/4 cups All-purpose flour – ½
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder – ½
  • As required Baking Soda – ¼ tsp
  • As required Salt – a pinch
  • As required Butter (softened) – ½ cup
  • As required Sugar – ¾ cup
  • As required ½ cup yogurt + ½ tsp baking soda for eggless
  • As required Milk – ½ cup
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence –
  • As required Fresh strawberries (pureed) – ½ cup
  • As required For the frosting:
  • As required Butter (softened) – ½ cup
  • 1/2 cups Icing sugar –
  • 1/2 tbsp Strawberry puree – (or strawberry jam)
  • As required A few drops of pink food color (optional)

Directions: Strawberry Cupcake Recipe

  • STEP 1.Prepare batter:- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a cupcake tray with paper liners.In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add yogurt mixture, vanilla, and milk. Mix well. Fold in the dry ingredients gently.Add strawberry puree and fold again – the batter will turn light pink.
  • STEP 2.Bake:- Pour the batter into cupcake liners (fill ¾).Bake for 18–20 minutes. Check with a toothpick. Let cupcakes cool completely.
  • STEP 3.Frosting :-Beat butter until creamy.Gradually add icing sugar. Mix in strawberry puree/jam and a drop of color (if needed). Pipe the frosting on cooled cupcakes.Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice.
