Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
  • STEP 2.Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • STEP 3.Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and salt. Cook for a minute to toast the spices.
  • STEP 4.Pour in the stout beer and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 5.Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, and corn. Cook for another 30 minutes.
