Ingredients for Steamed Lettuce Roll Recipe

  • 1 g Fresh Lettuce leaves (big individual leaves)
  • 0.06 Cups Grated paneer
  • 0.06 cup Chopped cabbage
  • 0.06 cup Chopped broccoli
  • 1/4 Pieces small chopped onion
  • 1/4 Pieces Fresh red chilli
  • 1/4 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.06 teaspoon Mixed Italian herb
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Pomegranate pearls

Directions: Steamed Lettuce Roll Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and add in chopped onion and chopped red chilli.
  • STEP 2.Saute until onion becomes soft and then add in chopped vegetables. You can use other vegetables like capsicums, green peas, sweet corn also.
  • STEP 3.Stir well in medium heat and add in spices and salt.
  • STEP 4.Cover and cook until the veggies become little soft.
  • STEP 5.Next add in grated paneer. Mix well. At last sprinkle chopped coriander and remove from heat.
  • STEP 6.Also add in fresh pomegranate carnels. Stuffing is ready now to use.

  • STEP 7.Take individual lettuce leaves and steam each leaf in a steamer without lead for about 10-15 seconds. This will help to roll the leaves nicely. But don't over steam the leaves to loose their crunchiness.

  • STEP 8.Take one leaf, place some prepared stuffing to one side of the leaf and roll carefully. Place in a serving dish.

  • STEP 9.Like this make all the rolls and serve them with a dip made of soya sauce, honey and chilli flakes.
