A Delicious Egg Curry for Chapati or rice where eggs are steamed and cut into cubes and simmered in a Spicy Gravy.This curry is a twist to the regular Egg Curry.

Ingredients for Steamed egg cake curry #BSK Recipe

  • 3 g Egg
  • 1/4 Cups Chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsps Turmeric powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 1 Pieces Cardamom
  • 1/2 Cups Chopped onion
  • 1/2 Cups Chopped tomato
  • 1/2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Handful Chopped coriander leaf
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • as required water

Directions: Steamed Egg Cake Curry #bsk Recipe

  • STEP 1.1.Break the eggs and take in a mixing bowl.Add turmeric powder,salt chopped onion mix well.
  • STEP 2.2.grease one steel tiffin box and pour the egg mixture and close the box tightly.
  • STEP 3.3.In a kadai take some water and put a stand over it and place the closed steel box and cover the kadai with lid.Lid should be cover the kadai completely.
  • STEP 4.4.cook the egg mixture in medium flame for 15-20 mins.
  • STEP 5.5.switch off the flame and cool down completely.Now open the steel box ,steamed egg cake is ready.Cut the cake in cubes and keep them aside.
  • STEP 6.6.In a kadai take oil ,when oil become hot add bay leaf,cardamom,cinnamon stick,cloves.Add chopped onion saute until onion become transparent.Add chopped tomato and cook until tomato become soft .Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2-3 mins in medium flame.
  • STEP 7.7.Add cumin powder, coriander powder ,red chilli powder and add some water and cook for 3/4 mins until oil comes out from the side of the masala.
  • STEP 8.8.Now add some water and salt , stir and cover the kadai with lid and cook for 5/6 mins until water starts to boil.
  • STEP 9.9.Now add egg cubes and and cover the lid again and cook for another 9-10 mins until your desire consistency of curry.
  • STEP 10.10.Add garam masala and cook for 2-3 mins.Add chopped coriander leaves.switch off the flame.
  • STEP 11.11.Steamed egg curry is ready to serve with rice or chapati.
