Ingredients for Steak Diane Recipe

  • 4 Sirloin or NY Strip Steaks
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.33 cup Brandy
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 ounce Mushrooms
  • 3 Shallots
  • As required Salt and Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley

Directions: Steak Diane Recipe

  • STEP 1.Liberally season both sides of room temperature steaks.
  • STEP 2.Sear on both sides over medium high heat for 1 minute per side.
  • STEP 3.Remove steaks, add olive oil, shallots, garlic, mushrooms and saute 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Deglaze pan with brandy and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add dijon mustard, worcestershire, cream and bring to a light simmer.
  • STEP 6.Add steaks back into the pan and let simmer in the sauce 5-7 minutes for rare to mid rare.
  • STEP 7.Remove steaks, stir in chopped parsley.
