Ingredients for STAR SHAHI TUKDE Recipe

  • 1/2 Litre Milk
  • A Few Bread
  • 1/2 Cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1.50 Tbsp Dry fruits
  • 2 Tbsp hee
  • A Few Saffron strands
  • 1 Cups Sugar

Directions: Star Shahi Tukde Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a thick bottom pan
  • STEP 2.Add thick milk
  • STEP 3.Switch on the hob
  • STEP 4.Keep stirring in medium flame
  • STEP 5.Scrape the edges, & keep adding to milk
  • STEP 6.Add bread crumbs,
  • STEP 7.Since it is a very time taking process, I have added bread crumbs to get thickness a little faster
  • STEP 8.keep stirring till milk reduces to one fourth
  • STEP 9.Add saffron soaked milk & chopped nuts
  • STEP 10.Adjust quantity of sugar according to the sweetness required
  • STEP 11.Let Rabri come down to room temperature & then refrigerate
  • STEP 12.Now take bread & cut in desired shapes & sizes
  • STEP 13.I have cut in star shape using star cutter
  • STEP 14.Heat a little ghee & shallow fry bread pieces
  • STEP 15.I have not soaked bread pieces in sugar syrup keeping in view of nutritional values
  • STEP 16.If we want more sweeter , we can use brown sugar syrup
  • STEP 17.Arrange bread pieces, pour Rabri & garnish
  • STEP 18.A very tasty Star shahi tukde ready to taste
