Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine sprouted ragi flour, rice flour, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add water gradually and mix well to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  • STEP 4.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Flip the dosa and cook for a minute on the other side.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure the batter is of pouring consistency.
  • You can add finely chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the batter for added flavor.
  • If the dosa sticks to the tawa, sprinkle a few drops of water to release it easily.

Storage and Serving

  • Sprouted ragi dosa is best served hot and fresh.
